The quiz was first published on 2 December 2022. It was updated on 16 December 2022 to include some more questions on changes between 2011 and 2021.

We updated the quiz again on 3 April 2023, adding questions covering more topics from Census 2021.

About the data

Our Census 2021 quiz uses  data from our topic summary publications. You can get the data, as well as read about the topics covered and how categories have been grouped together, in our topic summaries guide.

We use statistical disclosure control, as explained in our Census 2021 QMI, to protect the confidentiality of census respondents.
