About the data

Our Census 2021 quiz uses  unrounded population and household estimates from Census 2021 for England and Wales, and household and resident characteristics and international migration estimates, as shown in our publications. It also uses data from our ethnic group, national identity, language and religion publications and from our UK armed forces veterans publication.

We use statistical disclosure control, as explained in our Census 2021 QMI, to protect the confidentiality of census respondents.
