The Business Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Survey is being used to collect information about the financial and operational performance of businesses during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
What you need to know
To complete the survey, you will need the following information:
- Trading status of your business
- Turnover and online sales
- Exporting, importing and UK trade
- UK supply chain
- Prices of materials, goods and services
- Capital expenditure and stock
- Access to financial support
- Operational performance
This survey is refreshed every two weeks. To avoid losing data, please submit by the return date and before the next fortnightly survey is published.
All information you provide is strictly confidential.
Selection criteria: businesses from various industrial sectors and regions in the UK registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) and/or Pay As You Earn (PAYE)
Population: 2, 281,179
Sample: approximately 25,000
Frequency: every two weeks
Dispatch date: every other Monday starting 23 March 2020
Return-by date: every other Thursday starting 26 March 2020
Survey frequency, dispatch and return-by dates are a guide and are being regularly reviewed because of the changing circumstances.
