The information we gather is used to produce statistics which central and local government, businesses and individuals rely on to make decisions, assess the economic position of the country and to plan for the future.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) Respondent Charter for Business Surveys sets out our commitment to the people who take part in our business surveys. The aim of this charter is to help you understand why your participation is important and what you can expect from us.
If you are unable to find the information you need on these pages, we have a dedicated team assisting respondents to our business surveys - please telephone the number on your survey questionnaire where our highly trained staff will assist you. When calling, you will need your reference number and the 3-digit survey ID code. These can be found on any communication you have received from ONS. (Please be aware that calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes).
Alternatively, you can email our Respondent Feedback Team at firstname.lastname@example.org who will be happy and able to help with your query.
Opening times are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday.
We want to make returning data to us as easy as possible, so we have been developing our processes to better support businesses.
