Changes to this release date

  • Previous date:
    14 September 2017 09:30
    Reason for change:
ONS has experienced a delay in processing survey data from the Retail Sales Inquiry. There is no risk to the security of the data, but in order to complete the necessary processing and quality assurance to meet ONS's highest standards, it is necessary to postpone the publication of the Retail Sales Index data and bulletin for August, currently scheduled for 14 September. ONS apologises for this delay, and will announce a new publication date as soon as these technical issues are resolved and quality assurance of the data survey data is complete.
