Changes to this release date

  1. Previous date

    24 October 2025 9:30am

    Reason for change

This release has been postponed to 7 November 2025 due to a processing error. The processing of prison population data for 2021 used a raw dataset based on an outdated specification of which prisoners would be resident in prison for 12 months or more. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this delay.
