Details
There is no entry for Bridgnorth (39UB) in the MDB file (pc_to_oa_lad_mdb.exe.) on the CD. Consequently all postcode and OA codes for Bridgnorth are missing from that format.
Comments
The CSV, DBF and TXT formats of the file contain the data for Bridgnorth, and customers are advised to use that data instead and contact ONS Geography for assistance if necessary.

Details
Files titled as relating to Lancaster, Salisbury and Redcar and Cleveland do not include OAs in those areas. The file for Tonbridge and Malling contains the correct information but is formatted differently to other files.

The releases of the Output Area to 2004 Ward Look Up files in October and December 2004 included some corrections to the 2003 Ward Look Up file. Two of these corrections should not have been present:
October file only - Output Area 30UHGH0008 was re-assigned to Ward 30UHGN, it should remain assigned to 30UHGH.
October file and December file - Output Areas re-assigned from 00NSQK to 00NUSH should remain assigned to 00NSQK. This correction is also found on the 2001 Output Area to 2005 Ward lookup, but should not be present.
Files containing the correct associations are available on request from ONS Geography.

Due to a minor programming error all versions of the lookup files contain three incorrect Output Area (OA) population weighted centroids. The OA to ward allocation is correct, but the centroids are plotted short distances outside the boundaries of the Output Areas concerned. The affected OAs are 00AAFQ0013, UBFT0008, and 30UHGJ0002.

Users of the file are advised that Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant (M) comprises Output Areas 00NNSB0003 and 00NNSB0002, and is contained within the Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant Electoral Division (00NNSB). Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant (D) consists of Output Areas 00NNSC0003 and 00NNSC0002, and is contained within the Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant/Llansilin Electoral Division (00NNSC). Both communities are within the Powys Unitary Authority (00NN). ONS has now allocated code 00NN111 to the Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant Community that is within Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant Electoral Division (00NNSB) and code 00NN112 to the Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant Community that is within Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant/Llansilin Electoral Division (00NNSC).

The Unitary Authorities of Liverpool and Bristol, and a number of Urban Areas, are missing from the file. In addition, a number of Local Authorities are incorrectly associated with the Urban Area of Horam.
