Summary of request
These estimates are derived from the Labour Force Survey (LFS), which asks UK adults about their internet use. Respondents who report using the internet within the last 3 months are categorised as ‘recent’ users, those who last used the internet ‘more than 3 months ago’ are referred to as ‘lapsed’ users and the remaining group, those who have never used the internet, are classed as ‘internet non-users’.
