How to update or switch to a new internet browser.

Overview

If your web browser (the software you use to access the internet) is out of date, you should either update it to the latest version or switch to a new browser. This will help you make the most of our website.

This will mean:

  • your computer will be more secure and less likely to be attacked
  • it will be faster to browse the internet
  • you will see more features on many websites


Your browser will often update automatically but you can also check for and install browser updates manually.
