The data shown is in current prices meaning the effects of inflation are not removed. This data is suitable for cross-sectional analysis, but should be treated with caution if used for time-series analysis. Data by chained volume measures that removes the effect of inflation is preferred for time-series analysis, but is not available at local authority level for this metric. However, CVM data is available for larger geographies and can be found in the Annual regional labour productivity dataset.
