The initial compilation of Unit Labour Costs for the October 7th publication failed to include as part of the ULC calculation various government schemes introduced during the first lockdown. These schemes are employment subsidies and should have been deducted from total labour costs to give a more accurate interpretation of the labour costs of productivity faced by producers of goods and services.

Please note that the title of a data series in this time series was amended post-publication. This was to reflect the change in the base year of the series from 2016 to 2018. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
