We plan to publish analysis on the topic of ageing within the first year of the Census 2021 analysis programme. We will provide any updates to these plans based on user feedback, further research and testing of the data. We plan to start publishing articles from the end of January 2023. We will provide the publication dates of the analytical articles on the release calendar in "Upcoming releases". We intend to confirm publication releases four weeks before publication.

This analysis will be released as two separate reports. One will focus on sexual orientation and the other on gender identity, by the key demographics of age and sex.

This analysis will be released as two separate reports. One will focus on sexual orientation and the other on gender identity, by ethnicity and religion.
Sexual orientation and gender identity, a cross-analysis
This cross-analysis will look at sexual orientation by gender identity, and then gender identity by sexual orientation.
Sexual orientation and gender identity: health and disability
This analysis will be released as two separate reports. One will focus on sexual orientation and the other on gender identity, by general health and long-term conditions or illnesses.
Sexual orientation and gender identity: educational attainment
This analysis will be released as two separate reports. One will look at sexual orientation and the other at gender identity, by level of educational attainment.
Sexual orientation and gender identity: employment and labour market outcomes
This analysis will be released as two separate reports. One will look at sexual orientation and the other at gender identity, by:
- employment status
- hours worked
- occupation
- industry
- the National Statistics Socio-economic Classification
Sexual orientation and gender identity: family and household circumstances
This analysis will be released as two separate reports. One will look at sexual orientation and the other at gender identity, by:
- marriages and civil partnerships
- other household relationships
- unpaid caring roles
Sexual orientation and gender identity: housing
This analysis will be released as two separate reports. One will look at sexual orientation and the other at gender identity, by:
- type of dwelling
- tenure
- overcrowding
