A data table showing numbers of workplaces (local units) and numbers of employees in workplaces, according to whether those workplaces are defined as "Science and Technology". This is based upon bespoke classification of all UK SIC07 codes as "Science and Technology" or "Not Science and Technology" applied to the Inter-Departmental Business Register. Coverage is local authorities of the UK.
