Unfortunately, we do not hold Annual Population Survey (APS) or Labour Force Survey (LFS) tables showing the unemployment statistics and economic inactivity statistics for British Pakistani women between 1990 - 2018 broken down by age categories (16-24; 25-44; 45-65). However, you can find LFS quarterly statistics regarding unemployed and inactive women who define their ethnicity as Pakistani in the UK from 2001 to 2018;
The request for the above information can be obtained from the customer services team of ONS Social Surveys Division. However, you need to agree on a definition of British Pakistani women. Special extracts and tabulations of data are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate). Such enquiries should be made to socialsurveys@ons.gov.uk.
As this information is already available to you via this route, we consider that s.21(1) applies to this request and the information does not have to be supplied under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act. S.21(1) is an absolute exemption and no consideration of the public interest test needs to be applied.
