a) what percentage of white, Asian, black, disabled staff you have employed at managerial level
b) what percentages of the same at administrative and clerical level
c) what percentage of the same as office support e.g cleaners estates staff.
d) can you confirm the next census is in 2021 and are there any plans to do this more frequently?

In relation to questions (a) and (b) we do not record BAME information at managerial and clerical level, however to give an idea of grade structure;
SCS / Grade 6 /7 - senior managers
SEO / HEO - middle management
EO / AO – junior level
Declaration is based on employees declaring their data and does not include 'Prefer not to say' 'No data recorded'

With regards to question (c) this service is contracted out and therefore we do not record this information.
In answer to question (d) the next Census for England and Wales is planned to take place in 2021. There are no plans to undertake a traditional census more frequently, however ONS is investigating the feasibility of moving to a census based on administrative data after 2021.
