We do not publish statistics for the population of an area for a set distance from a particular postcode; however, we do have figures for usually resident populations at March 2011, at postcode level, from the 2011 Census for England and Wales. To fulfil your request for an estimate of the population within an area around a postcode, you will also need to consider Output Areas (OAs). For the 2011 Census, OAs are the basic geographic unit for which outputs are published, and these are used as the building blocks to form all higher geographical areas.
