You asked
Please could you provide the current (or most recent) numbers of people with Dementia in current employment in the UK.
We said
We publish employment estimates from the Labour Force Survey (LFS), which is a survey of households in the UK. However, we do not hold currently estimates for employment broken down by health conditions, such as dementia.
We provide a service to create bespoke LFS analysis that is not currently available. Any such analysis would be outside the Freedom of Information regime and special extracts and tabulations of data are subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate. Such enquiries should be made to the customer services team of ONS's Social Surveys Division (socialsurveys@ons.gov.uk).
Another route would be to access the anonymised LFS datasets at the UK Data Service if you are able to run your own analysis. Details of how to access the data can be found here: http://ukdataservice.ac.uk/get-data/how-to-access.aspx. Data can be downloaded free of charge for non-commercial purposes but if charges are applicable, you will be notified during the ordering process.
