ONS is responsible for producing Cancer Registration Statistics for England with key findings published annually in the following statistical bulletin:

This includes the number of deaths in England for all cancer sites by sex and age.

Table 10 outlines registrations of death from cancer based on cancer site and sex in England covering the period 2001- 2014 and Table 11 outlines these cancer death rates. Anal canal cancer is defined here as ‘Malignant neoplasm of anus and anal canal’ which refers to ICD-10 code C21.
