Please provide an excel file with the infant mortality rates for each of the ten years 2009-2018 in each of the five Councils Shrewsbury & Atcham, Oswestry, Brignorth, & South Shropshire that became Shropshire Unitary Authority in 2009.

Infant mortality rates for local authorities including Shropshire Unitary Authority can be found in Table 3 of the Child mortality (death cohort) tables, published alongside our Child and Infant Mortality statistical bulletin, for 2017 and for each preceding year. These tables are based on stillbirths, infant deaths and childhood deaths that occurred in England and Wales in a calendar year.
We do not have the information you requested on infant mortality in the former council areas making up Shropshire Unitary Authority, as we do not produce these statistics for local government areas which have been superseded. We may be able to create this information as an ad hoc tabulation. Such special extracts and tabulations are available to order (subject to legal frameworks, disclosure control, resources and agreements of costs, where appropriate). Enquiries should be made to:
