I would like to make a formal FoI request for economic activity multipliers by industry sector, based on the latest available reference data.
We said
Thank you for your request. To produce the multipliers requested requires an update of the input output analytical tables. These tables are currently only produced by ONS every 5 years as the process is resource intensive and requires a large amount of additional data. Therefore the latest data available are for reference period 2010 (link provided). We are, however, currently looking at the feasibility of producing the tables on a more regular basis and are hoping to publish an update with 2013 data in the first half of next year. Once the initial feasibility work has concluded we will update users with publication plans. If you require further assistance please do contact us at SUT@ons.gov.uk.
