I would like to know how much the ONS spent on the COVID-19 Survey

And how much of it was from government spending, how much of it was from private entities (especially linked to consulting companies, media, or pharmacological laboratories).

The COVID Infection Survey is 100% funded by the UK Government via the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), where the funding source is ultimately the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC).

ONS expenditure on the COVID Infection Survey up to and including December 2022 is approximately £945m, with approximately £54m relating to services provided within government and approximately £891m relating to services procured from the private sector.
