Summary

Changes in the prices of goods bought and sold by UK manufacturers including price indices of materials and fuels purchased (input prices) and factory gate prices (output prices).

We have changed the publication time of this release from 9.30am to 7.00am. This is in response to the developing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the UK and is to ensure fair and equal access to our market sensitive statistics.

  Changes in the prices of goods bought and sold by UK manufacturers including price indices of materials and fuels purchased (input prices) and factory gate prices (output prices).

  Input and output price indices for the UK, providing months when movements were higher, lower or equal.

• Output and input producer price inflation: contributions to the annual rates

  Contributions to the annual inflation rates of input and output producer price inflation by component and overall inflation rates.

  Cost indices (purchase of materials and fuels, average weekly earnings, general expenses and combined costs) relating to four aerospace and electronics industries.

  A comprehensive selection of data on input and output indices. Contains producer price indices of materials and fuels purchased and output of manufacturing industry by broad sector.

  UK monthly cost indices (purchase of materials and fuels, average weekly earnings, general expenses and combined costs) relating to four aerospace and electronic industries.

  UK price movement data at all manufacturing, aggregated industry and product group levels. Data supplied from individual manufacturers, importers and exporters. Monthly, quarterly and annual data.

• Producer price inflation revision triangle: total input one month (GHIP)

  Revisions made to the UK producer price total input; one-month data starting in November 2020.
