   Reason for change

   We are postponing this dataset temporarily to reduce the risk of confusion with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s statistical release Housing supply: net additional dwellings, England, publishing on 20 November. Their release is used as the primary measure of housing supply in England. This Office for National Statistics (ONS) dataset, which had been scheduled to publish on the same day, provides related data on a wider UK basis.
