  This is the annual update of the flow of funds matrices and includes new visualisations. This release incorporates the latest Blue Book publication published on the 31 October 2017.

Data

• UK Flow of Funds Project: total financial account

  These experimental statistics are estimates of the levels (balance sheets) of financial assets by institutional sector, together with the counterparty sector holding the liability. These estimates therefore represent from-whom-to-whom matrices for financial instruments for the UK.
