I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please would provide details of your current contract covering reprographics/print arrangements as follows
1. Number of MFDs (Multi-functional devices) & photocopiers at Office for National Statistics
2. Name of current supplier
3. Start/end date of contract (if expired, when do you expect to revisit the marketplace)
4. Details of any extension options
5. Total annual print/copy volumes for (a) Mono (b) Colour
6. What framework used
7. Number of regular/desktop printers (in addition to above)
8. Is there a support contract on above, if yes state start/end date
9. Does ONS have a Print Room
10. If yes, name of supplier, number of devices and start/end date of contract, also details of any extension options
11. What print software do you run
12. Name of person responsible for print

Thank you for your enquiry. Please see the following answers to your requests.
1. Number of MFDs (Multi-functional devices) & photocopiers at Office for National Statistics: 19
2. Name of current supplier: Xerox via Government Property Agency (GPA) agreement
3. Start/end date of contract: 01/04/2023 to 31/03/2027
4. Details of any extension options: This is not an ONS decision. This will be decided by GPA.
5. We do not hold the total annual print/copy volumes for (a) Mono (b) Colour.
6. An Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is in place with GPA to utilise their contract for the Provision of GovPrint 2
7. We have no regular/desktop printers in addition to those already mentioned.
8. Support services are included in the MOU agreement with GPA. Date range is 01/04/2023 to 31/03/2027.
9. ONS has a dedicated reprographics function plus a large dedicated print area for Business Surveys.
10. All devices in the reprographics area are owned outright and are not subject to contract periods. In our other print area we lease 1 Xerox Baltoro and 1 Xerox Versant 3100 which ends 31 August 2025.
11. We run Solimar print software and Fiery Command Workstation 6.6.
12. Personal data is exempt under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
