Hi, can you please provide an analysis of weekly COVID deaths by week of registration in 2024, by age-group (<1, 1-4, 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, etc).
And an analysis of weekly COVID deaths by week of occurrence since 2022, also by age-group.
Please provide the data as an xls file in a similar format to the weekly dataset in 2023.

We hold analysis showing weekly death registrations up to March 2024 and occurrences up to December 2023 in the following publication: Deaths registered weekly in England and Wales, provisional - Office for National Statistics (ons.gov.uk)
This publication has worksheets showing deaths by leading cause of death (including COVID-19), and also deaths by age group.
Further analysis, such as the specific data requested, would need to be requested as bespoke analysis. These services are subject to disclosure controls, legal frameworks, resources, and an agreement of costs in line with our Charging Policy.
