This workbook contains descriptive statistics, regression outputs, and predicted probabilities (adjusted to the mode reference category) for two sets of analyses exploring the probability of employment for unpaid carers in England and Wales 2021. Study One tested the association between the interaction of unpaid care provision and living in a multigenerational family household (MGH) with employment and full-time employment. Study Two tested the association between the interaction of unpaid care provision and ethnicity with employment.
The data in this workbook relates to individuals aged between 18 and 65 years inclusive (approximately working age). These data were produced as part of a PhD secondment from the University of Sheffield at the Office for National Statistics, and are being published for inclusion in the secondee's thesis and any resulting published journal articles.
