Last month we advised of the cancellation of November’s PPI data, as quality assurance checks had revealed issues within detailed item prices that required further investigations.
These investigations are now complete. However, the datasets for November and December will not be finalised in time to allow us to publish on the scheduled date of Wednesday 18 January 2023.
Instead, these data for November and December PPI along with an updated back series will be published at 7am on Wednesday 25 January 2023.
Our Consumer Prices Inflation including owner occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) and Consumer Prices Inflation (CPI) datasets are completely unaffected and will be published as normal at 7am on Wednesday 18 January 2023.
