Today we have published the outcomes of the consultation on changes to ONS statistical outputs. This is part of our strategic transformation to a modern, data-driven organisation.

In order to allow this transformation, we need to make changes to our existing work. We have considered how we publish outputs and the ways we gather our data, which include surveys like the International Passenger Survey and the Retail Sales Inquiry.

We consulted extensively with hundreds of key users of our data, including government departments and academic institutions. After considering the responses to this consultation, the document published today will set out how we adapt and improve the way we deliver the data the UK needs.
