Correction

27 January 2023

The ONS has identified an error in the latest October 2021 to September 2022 Annual Population Survey (APS) estimates at a sub-regional geographical level. July 2021 to June 2022 and earlier periods are unaffected. This error has a small impact on some regional totals but is within sampling variability (the impact is in the range of 0.0pp to -0.3pp on the employment rate, -0.1pp to +0.1pp on the unemployment rate and 0.0pp to +0.3pp on the economic inactivity rate). We will correct this table on 14 February 2023. The APS estimates published on NOMIS were corrected at 10.00am on 27 January 2023, and we would direct users to these estimates.
