Provides files to download data as it existed for this dataset on previous dates.
Statistics are most often revised for 1 of 2 reasons:
- For certain statistics initial estimates are released with the expectation that these may be revised and updated as further data becomes available.
- Revisions may also be made when methods or systems are changed.
These types of planned revisions should not be confused with errors in released statistics, which are genuine mistakes. Such mistakes occur rarely and, when they do happen, corrections are made in a timely manner, announced and clearly explained to users in line with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics (Principle 2, Practice 7).

Correction See correction
A correction has been made to Table 4 of the Tourism Satellite Account, which has fed through to Tables 6, 7, Tourism direct gross value added and Nowcast. Table 4 should include the total inbound tourism expenditure from Table 1, but the expenditure of inbound same-day visitors had incorrectly been excluded from this total. This small error has been updated in the 2015 and 2016 datasets, as well as the bulletin text, tables and figures. You can see the original content in the superseded version. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Important notes and usage information
The Nowcast figures in the 2019 edition of this dataset are based on a new method, as the previous method could not be used due to the pandemic halting collection of source data. This method aims to provide users with 2020 data that is comparable with previous years, although it should be noted that due to lower data content the 2020 nowcast data will likely be subject to greater revision than usual and should be used with caution. More details can be found in the notes page of the dataset.
