Summary of request
This release contains the sub-indices for domestic (collected one month in advance), European (collected one month and three months in advance) and long-haul (collected one month, three months and six months in advance) airfares, for January 2017 to February 2025 (the latest published data). The indices are presented on the January (of each year) = 100 basis, which are used to calculate the aggregated series. The release also contain the weights for each sub-index from 2017 to 2025.

Correction 30 September 2025
In the column labels in the "Weights" tab, previously 2017 was on the left running through to 2025 on the right. These have now been corrected so that 2025 is on the left running through to 2017 on the right. This issue only affects this ad hoc release and does not affect any other ONS published series. The air fares weights used in the compilation of CPIH, CPI and RPI are completely unaffected.
