We have corrected an error which affected data for the South West region in Tables 1 to 5.
Due to a processing error, the previous version contained the incorrect order of International Territorial Levels (ITL) 3 areas for the Dorset and Somerset region. This affected the data attributed to those areas.
We have also corrected a labelling error in Table 17: Total resident population numbers. This affected the ITL codes for Somerset, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and Dorset. The data in this table were correct and are unchanged.

We have corrected an error which affected data for East Sussex, with then a follow-on impact to the UK less Extra-Regio and then the UK in Tables 2, 3, 5 and 17.
Due to a processing error, the previous version of Table 17 contained the incorrect population numbers for East Sussex, and then follow-on impacts to the UK less Extra-Regio and the United Kingdom. Data in this table were incorrect for 2004 only.
As a result, per head data attributed to these areas in Table 2 were affected in 2004 only. Due to data in Table 3 being dependent on the UK per head value, data for all constituent areas in 2004 were affected by the error. In Table 5, annual growth rates for 2004 and 2005 were affected for East Sussex, UK less Extra-Regio and UK only.
