Correction

We have corrected a processing error in the Consumer trends time series dataset and the associated data in tables 6.2.13 and 6.2.15, affecting chained volume estimates and the associated growths for the data period of 1985 to 1996.

The series with the Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (COICOP) codes and associated aggregate series 03.1.2, 03.2.2, 04.1.2, 04.4.2, 05.1.3, 07.1.1, 07.2.2, 08.2, 09.1.2, 09.1.3, 11.1.1, 12.1.2, have been updated. All other series and data periods from 1997 onwards are unaffected.

Blue Book 2025 Chapter 8 Three Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) series (CRHA, CRHB, EQBZ), for the years 1987–1996, were not updated as intended as part of our Blue Book 2025 dataset. These series have now been revised to include the appropriate updates. We apologise for this correction.
