This analysis uses the Business Insights and Conditions Survey to show how UK businesses are applying artificial intelligence, the factors shaping its uptake, how it is being integrated into business activities, and where its effects are emerging.

What's in the bulletin?
- The cost of living (88%), the NHS (78%), and the economy (70%) were the most commonly reported issues facing the UK today.
- Around 1 in 3 adults (36%) agreed or strongly agreed that artificial intelligence (AI) will benefit them, while 37% neither agreed nor disagreed and 27% disagreed or strongly disagreed.
- Younger adults aged 16 to 29 years (47%) and 30 to 49 years (45%), and men (41%) were more likely to agree or strongly agree that AI will benefit them.
