Please supply the following information:
1. Weekly deaths in England from blood clotting and heart attacks, heart inflammation from January 2021 to October 2021. Can their age and vaccination status also be included. Whether they are unvaccinated with any covid vaccine, had first or second dose within 21 days or more than 21 days prior to that death.
Please show weekly data from January 2021 through to October 2021.
2. Is there a higher number of people suffering from blood clots in 2021 in England than last year and the last 5 years?
3. Is there a higher number of people dead due to blood clots in 2021 compared with last year and 5 previous years?

We are responsible for the production of mortality data for England and Wales, this is driven by information collected from death certificates at death registration.
1. Unfortunately, we do not hold analysis you have requested for aggregation by blood clotting, heart attacks and heart inflammation by week, age and vaccination status. In order to fulfil this request, we would need to create complex bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests.
However, we have published figures by leading cause in England in table 11a of our Monthly Mortality Analysis. Please see rows 8 and 24, which provide a monthly total of Ischaemic heart diseases grouping and year to date, which these heart conditions will fall under. Please note, we do not hold analysis of these deaths by vaccination status.
For deaths involving COVID-19 or all cause deaths after receipt of the COVID-19 vaccination, we hold the following analysis: Deaths by vaccination status, England. This is an analysis of deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status that occurred between 1 January and 24 September 2021 in England.
This publication includes weekly age standardised mortality rates for deaths involving COVID-19 by vaccination status and a detailed analysis of deaths involving COVID-19 which occurred in fully vaccinated individuals. This dataset was produced through complex linking of census data to vaccination data held by NHS. A weekly breakdown of age-standardised mortality rates by vaccination status for all deaths is available in table 2.
2. Unfortunately, we do not hold information on individuals who are suffering with illness, such as blood clots. You may be able to obtain this information from NHS Digital. They can be contacted via email at enquiries@nhsdigital.nhs.uk.
3. We do not hold analysis for 2021 for deaths due to blood clots. In order to fulfil this request, we would need to create bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests.

There are currently 9 deaths registered in England and Wales involving adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccination. These are coded with the ICD-10 code U12.9. This analysis can be found in table 12 of our Monthly Mortality Analysis dataset.
