Our 2020 provisional weekly deaths report by local authority was created and published as part of our COVID-19 response, owing to the public interest demand for this dataset. Unfortunately, we would be unable to provide you with weekly deaths by the location of death for 2019. In order to fulfil this request, we would need use a high level of statistical skill and judgement in order to create a bespoke analysis. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Public Authorities are not obligated to create information in order to respond to requests. We therefore consider this to be information not held.
However, we can provide you with monthly figures by local authority:
