Thank you for your request.

Please see the associated download named "Visa holders entering the UK under the Ukraine Humanitarian Schemes and their healthcare treatment: Scotland, 20 to 27 April 2022, 16 to 24 June 2022, and 27 April to 15 May 2023". This provides data about people's health condition(s) and prescription(s) in Ukraine, whether they have continued in the UK and whether people have faced barriers.

This data was collected by ONS in collaboration with the Home Office and Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, via the UK Humanitarian Response Insight Survey (UKHRIS).

UKHRIS data are experimental statistics. We are not able to provide the numbers of people in each category, therefore, we have provided data as percentages. This is because the UKHRIS is designed to give indications of scale rather than population estimates.

The survey responses are weighted to the sample population total, to provide a more representative view of the sample. The weighted counts provided in these data tables are not estimates of the population of Ukrainian visa holders in Scotland. For information on the number of visa holders on the Ukraine Sponsorship scheme in Scotland: Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme: visa data by country, upper and lower tier local authority

We asked people who hold a visa as part of the Ukraine Humanitarian Schemes, who arrived in three different time periods:

  • Wave 1: between 1 March and 19 April 2022

  • Wave 2: between 1 March and 15 June 2022 who hadn't been invited to the previous survey

  • Wave 3: between 1 March 2022 and 26 April 2023 who hadn't been invited to the previous survey (mainly people who arrived post 15 June 2022) and those who arrived before 1 March 2022 and are on the Ukraine Extension scheme

Other data is available via the following publication: Visa holders entering the UK under the Ukraine Humanitarian Schemes: 27 April to 15 May 2023
