Please provide Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) statistics specifically including the number of people impacted and the general trends of perpetrators. If possible I would like information from May 2025 onwards.

We publish crime data from two sources, the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) and Police Recorded Crime (PRC).
Any PRC data we publish on offences that may be considered as Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) can be found in table A5a of our Crime in England and Wales: Appendix Tables. This contains information about violence with and without injury, including sexual offenses by gender. The latest data available are for the year ending December 2025. The next update of this data will be published this month and will be available via the same weblink.
The CSEW also collects data on some of the crimes and behaviours considered as VAWG. We developed a combined measure of domestic abuse, sexual assault and stalking for the first time in July 2025. This measure was produced as the main measure for monitoring the Government's ambition to halve VAWG in a decade.
Additional data relating to VAWG crimes and behaviours can be found in tables A8 to A12 of our Crime in England and Wales: Annual supplementary tables. These contain information on domestic, family, and partner abuse, sexual assault, and stalking.
We publish some data from the CSEW on the relationship and characteristics of the perpetrator, and these can be found in the individual publications relating to the different topics:
