You asked
Could we please obtain the data on how many people were unemployed in Nottingham and, if possible, the entirety of Nottinghamshire from January 1, 2019 to present?
Could we also have the overall employment rate as well?

Thank you for your query regarding labour market figures for Nottingham.
Estimates of employment for local areas are available from the Annual Population Survey (APS), a household survey of people in the UK. Estimates of unemployment for local authorities are modelled based on the APS and using information from administrative sources to lend extra strength to the estimates.
The latest estimates available from these sources cover the period from July 2018 to June 2019, based on interviews that have taken place throughout the twelve months.
As you have requested figures for Nottingham and the entirety of Nottinghamshire, figures have been supplied for Nottingham Unitary Authority (E06000018), Nottinghamshire County Council (E10000024) and the ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire, obtained from combining those two areas.
The attached table contains estimates of employment and unemployment for people resident in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire for the twelve-month period July 2018 to June 2019, the latest period available.
All of the information used has been downloaded from our Nomis website (www.nomisweb.co.uk) which is the portal we use to disseminate some of our local statistics, including those for the labour market.
