We hold two separate sampling frames for multi-national enterprises with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) links. Our outward population frame contains the details of all wholly-owned UK businesses with ownership of subsidiaries and branches in foreign countries - approximately 17,900 enterprise groups.
Our inward population frame contains the details of UK businesses, who themselves are subsidiaries and or branches of a foreign company -- approximately 45,500 enterprise groups.
