I wish to request copies of the following:

• Annual leave policy
• Maternity leave policy
• Travel, subsistence and expenses policy (including limits for accommodation and subsistence)
• Pay policy
• Working outside UK / International remote working policy

Thank you for your request.

• Annual leave policy - the office for National Statistics does not have a stand-alone annual leave policy.  Our annual leave arrangements form part of a wider leave framework.  The annual leave element of that wider leave framework has been provided in the associated download named UK Statistics Authority Annual Leave Policy.
• Maternity leave policy - The Office for National Statistics does not have a stand-alone maternity leave policy. Our maternity leave arrangements form part of a wider family leave framework. The maternity leave element of that wider leave framework has been provided in the associated download named UK Statistics Authority Maternity Leave Policy.
• Travel, subsistence and expenses policy has been provided in the associated download named UK Statistics Authority Travel and Expenses Policy.
• Pay policy - Our pay framework has been provided in the associated download named UK Statistics Authority Pay Framework. 

• Working outside UK / International remote working policy. We have provided a copy of our international travel policy, a security policy which covers all international travel.

  ONS policy is that our staff are permitted to work outside the UK, for example when attending a conference or undertaking international development work, where it is a requirement of their role and the relevant security and other procedures are followed.

  In limited and exceptional circumstances, employees who need to travel overseas for other reasons can request temporary permission to work from an overseas location, again where relevant security and other procedures are followed. These requests are considered on a case by case basis by a panel.
