We can confirm that six field interviewers in the Social Survey Division have been on sick leave for a period in excess of 52 weeks, since 1st January 2021.

The answers to questions 2 and 3 are personal data and therefore withheld under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). We consider this information to be personal data, as a motivated intruder could combine this data with other information to learn something new about specific individuals. We do not believe there to be any legitimate interests in the release of this data into the public domain and we also do not believe it would be fair to the individuals concerned to do so.
