The Retail Prices Index (RPI) and the RPI annual percentage change are available from our website accessible via the following links:
Please note that the Retail Prices Index (RPI) is not a good measure of inflation, at times greatly overestimating and at other times underestimating changes in prices. The RPI does not meet the required standard for designation as a National Statistic. In recognition that it continues to be widely used in contracts, we continue to publish the RPI. However, we strongly discourage its use.
