How many recruitment companies/agencies there are registered in London. Also if possible how much money they make.

Thank you for your email requesting data on the number of recruitment companies registered in London and the money they make.
The following data was taken from the Inter-Departmental Business Register (IDBR) which does not hold data on company profits. Instead I have included a sum of the turnover in the data table, this data primarily comes from the Value Added Tax (VAT) data the companies provide to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Turnover data should be used with caution as they are derived mainly from administrative sources which we are unable to validate.
Here are the counts of those businesses as well as the sum of their turnover:
