Please provide a breakdown of the rates of rent for a specific private property or alternatively, properties of a similar profile.

Unfortunately the Office for National Statistics does not publish estimates for the price of privately rented property. The ONS does produce and publish inflation estimates (i.e. how much private rental prices increase or decrease) via the Index of Private Housing Rental Prices (IPHRP), which can be accessed via the attached link:

The source of data for IPHRP is from the Private Rental Market Statistics, which is produced and published by the Valuation Office Agency (VOA). This source of data does use rental price levels in the calculation, and publishes estimates of levels for property broken down by number of rooms and down to an English Administrative area.
