Please provide population estimates starting from 1972 to 1980, broken down by age, sex and county/LAD.

We said

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request about population data broken down by age, sex and local area. Please find attached a spreadsheet providing estimates by quinary age and different sub-national geographies for the period 1971 to 1980.

We cannot confirm the accuracy of the estimates for sub-national geography by age group for these years, but this is the best that we are able to provide at this time.
