  1. How many UK Police Officers were automatically enrolled in the new 2015 CARE Police Pension Scheme on 1 April 2015 having been moved from either the 1987 Police Pension Scheme (PPS) or 2006 Police Pension Scheme (NPPS)?

  2. Of those officers, how many were originally in the PPS and how many were originally in the NPPS?

  3. How many officers who were, up until 31 March 2015 a member of the PPS or the NPPS and were due to be automatically enrolled in the new 2015 CARE scheme, opted out?

  4. How many officers were fully protected and will therefore remain in either the PPS or the NPPS until retirement?

  5. How many officers fell into the 'tapering' bracket and remained in either the PPS or the NPPS after 31 March 2015 but will be required to leave their existing scheme prior to retirement?

  6. How many officers are currently members of the 2015 CARE Pension Scheme?

  7. How many serving officers are not a current member of any of the aforementioned pension schemes?
