You asked
May I request any data you have about the following:
How many people with Palestinian nationality are currently living in the UK (as of December 2025)
How many people have moved to the UK from Gaza from October 2023 - December 2025?
We said
Thank you for your request.
We do not hold data that directly answers your questions. The reasons are:
Population by nationality: We do not produce annual official estimates of the UK population by nationality at this level of detail. However, Census 2021 provides breakdowns by country of birth and nationality. For disclosure control purposes, smaller populations such as Gaza and the West Bank are grouped under Occupied Palestinian Territories. If the standard outputs do not meet your requirements, it may be possible to commission a bespoke table. Please note that any bespoke work would be subject to our strict statistical disclosure control processes. If you have any questions on the 2021 Census or wish to commission a bespoke table, please email census.customerservices@ons.gov.uk
Arrivals from Gaza: Immigration statistics published by the Home Office record visa grants by nationality (Palestinian Territories) rather than by specific region (e.g., Gaza or West Bank). There is no separate reporting for Gaza.
