Catering is approx. £1.7m per annum and at nil subsidy. Other government departments share the facilities at both sites.

The catering contract is part of the soft FM contract and will be retendered as part of that contract. Currently, we have no plans to disaggregate that contract.

As part of the soft FM Contract via competition.

Yes, it is part of a FM contract with Vinci Construction UK Ltd and services include:

  • Maintenance services

  • Horticultural services

  • Cleaning services

  • Workplace FM services

  • Reception services

  • Security services

  • Waste services

  • Miscellaneous FM services

  • Computer-aided facilities management (CAFM)

  • Helpdesk services

  • Management of billable works

Over the next few months we will review the options to inform the decision of whether we wish to take advantage of the 2-year extension in the contract to 30 September 2023 or to maintain the end date of 30 September 2021.
