Please list all data sources or inputs used by ONS to produce statistics. If possible please list the sources of data alongside the statistics that are eventually published. For example, alongside GDP, the data used, alongside CPI the data used etc. Please send your response in excel.

ONS does not hold a single list of all data sources or inputs. However the following sources taken together offer the most complete list available:

For business statistics the best list of surveys is the online list of government statistical surveys, available here:

Social and household surveys are included in the table attached below:

With regards the second part of your request ONS is currently working on a table mapping data sources to output, attached below. Please note however that this is a work in progress and the last major update was completed in May 2014.
